Jazer Giles holds a master’s degree in musical composition from the University of Massachusetts, where he studied under Salvatore Macchia. He also holds an undergraduate degree in music and physics from Skidmore College. He is a lecturer for the music departments of Mt Holyoke College and Umass. He accompanies dance classes for Five Colleges and is a composer-in-residence with Barbie Diewald Dance.
