Kelsie Hoffman is a New York-based artist who explores the ideas of digital femininity and the mixing of cultures in a connected world through an ever-changing style. Originally from Detroit, she studied interior design before receiving her MFA Computer Arts degree from the School of Visual Arts. Her knowledge of space planning and design has enriched her studies and experiences in materials, light, reflection and refraction. Her work, focused on creating interactive experiences through installations and virtual reality, is firmly anchored in a dialogue with emerging technologies and the exploitation of society through artificial intelligence and media.
Kelsie’s work includes Touchdesigner and Python, and her main sources of inspiration are the music and work of Zach Lieberman, Refik Anadol and Olafur Eliasson. His work has already been exhibited in the galleries of the SVA (2019, 2020) and at the FIREWALL! (2020). She is also the creative director and co-founder of RÕZ, a creative studio that provides content, events and marketing strategies for artists and brands in the music industry.
