generative art

Science never ceases to look closer or further to help elucidate the phenomena of nature. Thanks to a constantly evolving technology, scientists are scanning the confines of space or the infinitely small. Science is constantly learning new things about our world and how it works.

Using a reaction-diffusion system, Morphogerador is a reflection on the biological processes that create the structural color that we see in insects like the Morpho butterfly and many beetle species, among others. These reaction-diffusion systems were applied for the first time by Alan Turning in his founding article "The Chemical Basis of Morphogenesis" to describe biomorphological systems. Morphogerador uses similar algorithms to create a stable and ever-changing system that continually brings the perspective closer and wider without ever reaching the smallest or widest view, revealing new knowledge always at the limit of our sight.
