Adrenaline is a video series of fingerprints on energy drinks. The fingerprints have been carefully extracted from the energy drink can using traditional forensic techniques, before being reapplied to a 3d-object of the same can. The result is a series of images revealing the iconic shape of the aluminium can only visible through the sweaty palms that once touched it for the few minutes it took to consume its content. As an object designed to deliver only a single caffeine kick before being disposed of, the lifespan of an energy drink aluminium can is as brief as it is intense.

By combining fundamentally analog and digital techniques in a whole new way, the project enables us to observe a layer of human activity otherwise not visible to us. We know that our relationship with single-use items are at the center of many of the issues we're facing today. But what does a single use actually look like?
