Cosmic Cells is a work that has been painted on 35 mm film, it is in line with the work of Len LYE, Stan BRAKHAGE... Choosing to intervene in this way on film today is to enhance and extend in the digital world the graphic and pictorial possibilities of a medium gradually abandoned by the digital age ; it is to voluntarily reconnect with artisanal processes that testify to an organic contact between the artist and his medium. It is here a fleshly relationship - a human skin on contact with the skin of the film - that is at the origin of the creation.
