Living in Naples is like living in a short circuit. Naples is a futuristic and surreal city, a complex system. Naples is pulsating and rotating, it is noise and music. To understand it, you have to walk across it every day. This video is a virtual walk through the city, from Poggioreale to Posillipo, from Scampia to Piazza Garibaldi, from Via Caracciolo to Pignasecca. Among the many European cities, Naples is a glitch (literally, a "glitch"), unpredictable, out of the rules and out of the norm. 

This video was created by recording a walk through Naples using Google Street View. The video recordings and video data stream of each clip were then "altered" through the use of text and sound editing software. To increase the glitch experience, the WIFI signal was interrupted while the Google Street View software was downloading its data from the software cache. A masterpiece by Dirty New Media.
