Iridescence

Milnesium tardigrades, which is the name of this water bear genus, are cosmopolitan and carnivorous and they love to feed on nematodes and rotifers. Water bears are famous for their ability to form a tun, which is their dehydrated state which is also called cryptobiosis. When in this state, they can survive years without food or water and can resist extremes conditions such as high temperatures, pressures, radiations and even the vacuum of space or being shot by a gun!
