This work is part of the collection La Folie des Grandeurs, which explores the relentless and frenetic evolution of humanity and the urgent challenges it has created for our natural ecosystems.

The "La Baule" series questions the rise of seaside resorts and mass tourism on our coasts, especially on the Atlantic coast, in La Baule where the artist grew up. The characters in black and white represent all the emulation and the dream of a future turned towards social progress at the end of the first paid holidays, put in opposition with contemporary architecture, offshore technologies, erosion of the coastline asking new questions about the evolution and survival of these stations.
